Texture book in process

These are 2 pages that are in the center of a textural book I am working on.

The top 2 pictures show the underneath layer from the finished page pictures below. The green print is from a photograph of Monet's garden in Giverny, France. The brick print is from a wall in Venice, Italy. Both prints are printed on handmade paper that has been treated with an ink aid.

The bottom pictures have a crocheted and beaded layer on the top of the prints. These are the finished pages from above. The left bottom crocheted piece is a fine cotton, strung with beads and then crocheted. The finished page on the right is crocheted from hemp that has been strung with the beads before crocheting.

I used gel media to attach the printed surface to a board book page. The crocheted pieces are attached at the top with gel media. The entire book will have 16 pages.
